Lance Allen and Avery Bright began working together in 2017. A mutual friend made the introduction when working on Lance's String Poet project that came out later that year. After some releases and success on Spotify, Lance proposed the idea of joining together and collaborating as a band/duo. Like the music, Allen & Bright had a nice ring to it and thus, the music journey began. 

Avery had already seen much success with touring and working as a session violinist for many major acts from U2, Dolly Parton, One Republic, and so many others to list. Lance had been teaching guitar lessons, recording and releasing music since the early 2000's. Each of their talents brought together have a made a beautiful collaboration and friendship.
